There are seasons that ask us to move, and seasons that ask us to be still. Somewhere between those seasons, I lost track of time. Days turned into weeks. The world was humming along while I learned how to breathe again.
Lately, I have been relearning the small, wonderful things life has to offer. Cherishing the smell of the espresso after a long night. Enjoying slow mornings without the guilt of a to-do list. There is a strange peace that comes with knowing everything will get done eventually.
So here I am, back at The Hearth and the Moon. Not with big declarations or polished plans, but with soft light and honest intention. I want to fill this space again—with words and warmth. There may be a few recipes or reflections. They remind us that gentleness counts as growth too.
If you’ve found your way here again, thank you for staying. If you’re new, welcome in. The kettle’s on, the fire’s glowing, and the moon is still watching over us all.
With warmth and moonlight,
—JJ
